Our Story

Since 1989, patients have come to Leung Dental from throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond because they know they will always receive the personal, one-on-one attention that is our trademark.
Dr. Wilson Leung has been serving the East Bay community for over 37 years, and he has established himself as one of the prominent dentists in the area. His daughter, Dr. Katherine Leung always admired her father's dedication to the community and to his patients and is excited to join the Leung Dental team!
Each member of our team is dedicated to ensuring our patients feel well-informed and comfortable at all times before, during, and after their dental visit.
At Leung Dental, there are no surprises: we will never begin a dental treatment or procedure until our patient has had all of their questions answered and feels completely at ease.

Meet The Doctors
Wilson W. Leung, D.D.S.
Dr. Wilson Leung completed undergraduate work at California State University East Bay in 1979 before moving on to Georgetown University, School of Dentistry in Washington D.C. earning his Doctor Of Dental Surgery Degree in 1983 .

Dr. Wilson Leung began practicing dentistry in Hayward, CA after graduation in 1983 and has been practicing at his current office since 1989.
​
Dr. Leung works hard to stay abreast of the latest advances in dental care and participates in regular continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. It is because of Dr. Wilson Leung's dedication to improvement and growth in a variety of dental technologies, treatments, and procedures that Leung Dental patients receive the most modern, efficient, and effective general and cosmetic dental care available.

Katherine Leung, D.D.S.
Associate Dentist
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Dr. Katherine Leung is ecstatic to work alongside her father and be able to provide comprehensive care for her community.
​
She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley (Go Bears!). While applying for dental school, she worked at Genentech, where she learned the ins-and-outs of the pharma industry.
​
She graduated and completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 2020 at the University of California, San Francisco.
​
Amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic, she moved to New York, where she continued her education by completing her Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at NYU Langone Hospitals - 7th Avenue Family Health Center.

Dr. Katherine Leung is so excited to start this next chapter in her career and be back in the Bay Area, and is looking forward to getting to know you!
